Join us for an immersive 14-week journey where you'll create, shoot, and edit a feature film, culminating in an exciting premiere on December 14th. This unique opportunity will take you through every phase of film production, providing hands-on experience and a chance to be part of a groundbreaking project. Here’s what you can expect:
Phases of Production
Preproduction (Weeks 1-4)
Script Development: Work with professional writers to develop the script.
Casting: Audition for roles and select the cast.
Crew Assignments: Choose your preferred crew positions and get trained.
Rehearsals and Planning: Begin rehearsals and plan the shooting schedule.
Production (Weeks 5-10)
Filming: Engage in on-location shoots, capturing scenes with professional guidance.
Behind the Scenes (BTS) Footage: Document the filming process with weekly BTS footage.
Simulated Reality Show Reels: Create and upload short, reality-show-style reels featuring both the main cast and actors playing a simulated crew, giving an inside look at the production.
Postproduction (Weeks 11-14)
Editing: Learn the art of film editing, from rough cuts to the final version.
Sound and Music: Add sound effects and music to enhance the film.
Final Touches: Complete the final edits and prepare for the premiere.
Weekly BTS Footage and Reality Show Reels
Throughout the production, we will upload weekly BTS footage that captures the entire process. This will be presented in a simulated and abbreviated reality show style, utilizing actors from the main cast and actors playing the role of fictionalized crewmembers . These social media reels will not only document the making of the film but also engage audiences in a playful way with behind-the-scenes content.
